Don't Waste Exercise Gains With Long Hours Of Sitting


Does your daily routine entail long hours of sitting?

At home, how many hours do you spend daily continuously seated in front of your TV or computer? Does your job glue you to your office or car seats for long hours of time everyday?

Of course I'm sure most of you are already aware of the deadly effects of a sedentary lifestyle. If even regular exercisers are endangered by this habit or routine, what more of those who don't exercise at all? The risks should be substantially higher for the latter group.

These were the findings of a very recent study by the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences.

The message of the study is very simple - health gains from regular exercise are offset and negated by spending too much time sitting.
